Oakdene adds e-forms and report mining solutions to Momentum distribution agreement

August 31st, 1999 --- Momentum Utilities Pty Ltd, Sydney, Australia and Oakdene Group Inc, Chicago, USA today announced that Oakdene will market and support Momentum's latest electronic forms and report mining applications, JacanaForms and ValetMiner.

Oakdene, a major North American distributor of Momentum's leading iSeries report writer OPEN/DB-Jacana-Valet, will add JacanaForms and ValetMiner to their portfolio of products.

Jim Stickler, Vice President Marketing and Sales at Oakdene, comments, "JacanaForms and ValetMiner adds an e-form and report mining dimension to the Momentum report writing system that we know our customers will be excited about. These products naturally extend the OPEN/DB-Jacana-Valet product suite."

Oakdene already support OPEN/DB-Jacana-Valet and derivative versions of Momentum’s report writer products known to MAPICS and Marcam Solutions customers as Info WorkPlace and ex-Synon (now Sterling) customers as Synon/RW. In addition, Oakdene offer regular training courses and consulting services for Momentum products that will be expanded to embrace the new products.

JacanaForms is an e-form solution that offers significant business advantages over pre-printed forms. In addition to 'transforming' existing spool file outputs to work with e-forms, JacanaForms uniquely combines Jacana – OPEN/DB report writing with e-form design for new output.

ValetMiner is an easy to use data access and analysis tool using spooled report files as a source of data. Features include the ability to select iSeries spooled reports manipulate and analyze report data, drill down through summarized data, create charts and copy data to virtually any PC application.
