Momentum ships Release 7.5 of its
reporting - forms - report mining applications

July 26th, 1999 --- Momentum Utilities Pty Ltd, Sydney, Australia announces the release and shipment to its distributor channels world-wide of Release 7.5 of the latest version of Jacana-Valet-OPEN/DB, JacanaForms and ValetMiner for iSeries report writing, forms and report mining respectively.

Release 7.5 represents the consolidation of a series of developments to integrate JetForm Corporation's NT based forms and printing software and Datawatch Corporation's client-server report mining software with Momentum's 'core' client-server iSeries centric reporting application. The overall result is a cohesive and powerful set of information retrieval tools bringing together reporting, forms and report mining technologies to work seamlessly across multiple hardware and operating system platforms, including printers, in an iSeries centric environment.

Release 7.5 extends Momentum's 'core' data access and report writing system by adding:

JacanaForms forms design and printing flexibility
Opportunities to leverage heritage report output by applying form technology using JacanaForms and/or employing report mining technology using ValetMiner
Various enhancements and options for customers to embrace E-mail and Web distribution technologies
Improvements to Jacana further simplifying report design
Increased control of report production from the desktop using Valet
