JetForm’s forms design and printing technologies
combine with Momentum’s report writer technologies
for the iSeries market.

--- Momentum Utilities Pty Ltd, Sydney, Australia announces a strategic
marketing and distribution arrangement with JetForm Corporation (Nasdaq:FORMF). Under this
agreement Momentum will complement its own widely used OPEN/DB
iSeries
report writer
with form design and printing technology from JetForm. Further and most importantly,
Momentum has integrated the JetForm technology with its own iSeries
client-server report
writer system. The new add-on forms solution will be marketed by Momentum as ‘JacanaForms’.

| Momentum’s report
writer strengths lie in its ability to access the DB/400 relational database and tackle
data manipulation and output requirements ranging from the very simple to the highly
sophisticated involving sorting, selection, calculations, totaling, paging etc.
JetForm technology, on the other hand focuses on output design and presentation (for
example, use of fonts, shaded text, graphic images, boxes, circles, colors, bar codes
etc.); print distribution to network printers; and printer support / optimization of
printer driver performance. Merging data access and manipulation technology from Momentum
and output design and printer support technology from JetForm, primarily targeted at the
iSeries market, offers a winning combination. Momentum customers will now have greater
flexibility over their report output to produce printed stationery and other high quality
documents through laser printers not directly attached to their iSeries. |

The immediate
major benefits JacanaForms will offer
include:
- Cost savings from significant reduction in capital expenditure
on forms inventory, forms design, forms distribution and storage, and forms obsolescence.
- Productivity gains from reduced elapsed time to introduce new
or amended forms.
- Improved presentation quality for management and customer
output.
In summary, JacanaForms will offer
iSeries sites substantial cost savings in reducing dependence on the whole range of pre-printed
stationery (e.g., invoices, advices, audit letters, statements, picking lists, portfolio
valuations and much, much more).

| The JacanaForms solution comprises the
following components: 1.JetForm
Design as the graphical design and development tool for creating electronic
replicas of the paper form.
2.OPEN/DB
to provide data access, retrieval and massaging of the data itself.
3.JacanaForms
special interface with JetForm Design to uniquely identify the output fields extracted by OPEN/DB for use in the
JetForm Design forms definition.
4.JetForm Central to provide the automatic
data merge with the form design to produce professional quality laser printed output.
